A.S.A Sailing School  

The sailing school started in response to requests from our sailing holiday guests. For many people combining a week's holiday with a sailing course is a better choice than simply doing a 5-day school. If you have a hectic job, it often takes a day or two to relax and really get into the sailing. The school provides an opportunity to learn to sail in one of the world's most famous cruising areas - the Greek islands.

We teach the American Sailing School Syllabus. It offers our clients the opportunity to find a level to begin at without the pressure of a pass or fail grade. If all you want to do is get a basic introduction to sailing then our "START SAILING" program will suit you. If you are a bit more ambitious and want to learn about navigation and other sailing skills then either our "YACHT CREW" PROGRAM  or the "BAREBOAT SKIPPER CERTIFICATE"  will challenge you.

 

Our Course are a combination of sailing holiday and daily teaching of the syllabus. We like to offer our clients plenty of time to relax and study. As well as lots of time to swim and explore the islands. At the end of your course you will take a written exam, and be assessed by the instructor as to your new sailing skills. The certificate is issued direct from the ASA in the USA. So remember to bring 2 passport sized pictures for your certificate and International Certificate of Proficiency.
